Zardeh village is located in BanZardeh villages in the central part of Dalahoo in Kermanshah province. People in this region speak in Kurdish, Hurami dialect. They are followers of Yarsanism religion and since there are several shrines of the holly Yarsan figures, the village is considered to be one of the holly centers of this branch, playing a pivotal role in the history of Yarsanism. Its population is 1370 (380 families). There are the remains of walls and a interiors of an ancient castle named Yazdgerd Castle belonged to Parthian period. The castle is placed next to the village on top of heights overlooking the areas. You can visit this place in all seasons especially in the spring.
