If you like to go somewhere green and simultaneously you want to visit some museums and galleries, and then sit in a coffee shop and enjoy the environment, you should go to the Iranian Art Museum Garden.

A little further from Tajrish Square, no 3 Dr. Hesabi street, you reach the Iranian Art Museum Garden. This beautiful garden was built in 1310 SH during Pahlavi the first era and belonged to lieutenant Ahmad Amir-Ahmadi. After the Islamic revolution, it was Khaneh Cinema who owned it and from 1386 SH, it is a public museum.

You can get there by metro, bus, or taxi. Go to Tajrish Square and walk about one kilometer of Darbandi street until you get to the museum. Entering the garden, suddenly you forget the traffic jam and the noisy street because of the lawn and its old trees. The row of pots and the brick monument are another attractive aspect of this garden. The garden covers almost one hectare and has a Coffeeshop, restaurant, Iranian garden, green area, workshop, and crafts store. But this garden is famous because of its artistic models of concrete.

made in Italy during Pahlavi the second, these models represent historical monuments and the attractions of Iran. The models arrived in Iran in separate pieces and they were assembled. These were to use in two thousand and five hundred year celebration of the Persian Empire but they decorate the Iranian Art Museum Garden.

There were thirty five of them and now, there are eleven of them in the garden. They are Azady tower, Fin Garden in Kashan, Chehel Sotoun and Hasht Behesht and Mahyar Karvansarai in Isfahan, Shamsol Emareh in Tehran, Gonbad-e Qabus in Gonbad Kavus, Naghsh-e Rostam in Fars, Tomb of Daniel in Susa, and Monastery of Saint Thaddeus in Azerbaijan. Composite replica of Milad Tower has also been recently added to the collection.

In the gallery, there are visual art expositions with paintings and photos in which you can visit them and usually, there are some photos of Ancient Tehran. You can check the booths and watch the artistic objects, then go to the bookstore with a cozy space. Also, there are handicrafts and souvenirs in other cities. In the last one, you can visit the flower shop.

There are also workshops there such as calligraphy, painting, reading Hafez, or knowing Molana. You can benefit coffeeshop and its drinks. It is open from nine AM to nine PM.

The mansion of Dr. Hesabi is twenty meters to the Iranian Art Museum Garden and it worth visiting.
