Making ring is one of the handmade products which has been recently flourished in Zanjan. Ring makers have shown their skills in two fields; the first one is manufacturing shank the most famous producers of which are Haj Ahmad, Shirazi and Chahar Chang. And the second one is in the field of carving and graving on the crown of the ring. 

In order to make a ring, the artist prepares a scheme of the shank of the ring using wax and then makes a mold out of it. The shank of the ring is usually made of 900 Silver. In the stage, the molten silver is injected into the mold, polished and trimmed after cutting the mold open to release the model within. The procedure continues with crafting crown and setting it on the band which include bending, sawing, soldering, and polishing. Finally, they will end the process with stone setting, grooving and sparkling the inside and the surface of the shank.
