The city of Bardaskan has an approximate area of 7100 square kilometers along the Kashmar-Khalil Abad tourism axis. , Bardaskan is known as "Beeshti Fruits" for garden products, including "Pomegranate, Fig, Pistachio and Grapes". This area in the past centuries was a part of a land mentioned in the geographic and historical texts as’ Torshiz". In the years 520 AH and 650 AH, Seljuk and Mongolian armies attacked this area. The two major historical incidents which contributed to the importance of the area include the caravan of Reza (AS) and the event of cutting the cedar tree named Keshmar.
