Bakharz is located along the tourism route of Torbatejam –Tybad and also, on the northeastern shore of Khorasan Razavi province. The center of this city is Bakharz and based on the last divisions of the country has two central and upstream parts. Bakharz has a temperate climate. According to the historical narratives, this area was captured by the Islamic Corps in 31 AH; after which the Taherians, the Saffarids, and the Samanids dominated Bakharz until they were invaded by the Mongols in the sixth century AH and then by the Mongols. Afterwards, Bakharz explores its prosperity, so that Hamdollah Mostofi in Nazhatol-Gholob has mentioned it as a land of the fourth climate and an area with grasslands and gardens.
