Gaz-e Borkhar Ethnography Museum is placed in a part of a luxurious house related to Qajar which is now the place of the Adib Boroumand Cultural Foundation and Cultural Center and it was officially established on October 19, 2004, at material and spiritual expense of Majid Foroutan. The museum is extremely rich in terms of objects’ variety in order to cover the whole local culture of the region. They include cloths, agricultural devices, weights, carpentry, bath, different kinds of prayer and evil eye, spinning devices, the bride’s Khoncheh, different containers related to different periods, manuscripts and printed books and some examples of inventory and deeds, a collection of old photos and photos of natural landscapes and ethnography of the region, examples of plant textures and its products, pottery wheel, canvas weaving and rug loom etc.
