Khonj is a city encompassing an area of nearly 5800 square kilometers and its center is Khonj town located 260 kilometers southeast of Shiraz. Khonj is restricted to Qir and Karzin from the north, to Larestan from the east, to Lamerd and Gerash from the south and to Mehr and Farashband cities from the west.
