The Darabad Nature and Wildlife Museum is one of the well-known museums in Tehran. This museum covers an area of 2,500 square meters and is built on a land of 12,000 square meters. At the Iran Nature and Wildlife Museum, you can witness diverse biological specimens from Iran and see rare taxidermied animals in its halls. Among the notable and rare exhibits in this museum is the skin of the extinct Persian tiger. Additionally, in the open space of this museum, you can also observe some live animals.

This museum provides an excellent environment for familiarizing individuals, especially children and teenagers, with wildlife and various animals. The Dream Park Optical Illusion Park is also located within this complex, offering an attractive opportunity for recreation and taking unique photos.

Moreover, various educational workshops on topics such as animal taxidermy, animal handling, sculpture, beekeeping, and more are held in this complex.

In Darabad, you will get to know more than 26 species of different creatures, including rabbits, rodents, carnivores, felines, deer, bears, tigers, seals, and more. Over 165 species of birds, out of approximately 517 identified bird species in Iran, can also be seen in the different halls of this museum.
