Turan Protected Area
Turan Protected Area or Turan National Park (Persian: منطقه حفاظت شده خارتوران) is located in the east of Semnan province, 250 km southeast of Shahroud city. Turan region is a protected area and national park in terms of environmental divisions.
Saluk Protected Area
Saluk National Park is located in northern Khorasan, 20 kilometers northwest of Esfarayen and 30 kilometers southwest of Bojnurd. The national park covers an area of 17,000 hectares. The climate of this area is considered moderate and semi-arid. Two-thirds of the area is mountainous and one-third is a plain. The difference in altitude between the highest point in the mountainous area and the lowest point in the southern plain is around 1,510 meters, which is interesting in itself.
Khan Garmz Protected Area
This area, spanning over 9,000 hectares, is located 30 kilometers southwest of Tuyserkan and 25 kilometers east of Asadabad. Due to its diverse plant and animal species, it has become one of the unique ecotourism attractions of the county and province.
Helali Protected Area
The Helali Protected Area is located in the southeast of Bajestan County and west of Gonabad, covering an area of approximately 120,000 hectares. The Siyah Kuh summer area features high, interconnected mountains, lush and deep valleys, and numerous springs.
Tandoorah National Park, Paradise for Persian leopard
This natural area with an approximate area of 37,800 hectares is located 30 kilometers southwest of Dergas and has a special reputation due to the rare species of plants and animals and the unique natural landscape for unique geographic habitats
