El Daqi or Gavazang entertainment complex is one of the leisure centers of Zanjan city, located on the north side of the city and on foothills of Gavazang mountain. Welcoming Zanjan residents and tourists in the evenings and especially on holidays, the complex is near the city and has facilities such as traditional canteens, amphitheater, restaurant, game, parking lot, sports complex, five-dimensional cinema and the earthen dam. All these facilities have attracted the attention of local residents and tourists to this recreational place.
Gavazang dam can also be found a little higher than this tourist complex. Being part of the Gavazang recreation complex, the dam is a good place for fishing and sailing in the hot seasons. But what has given double importance to this collection is holding of the annual Ash National Festival here, with the presence of different Iranian ethnic groups. It is one of the oldest Iranian food festivals. To reach Gavazang, you have to go to the north of Zanjan city. It is better to go to Gavazang road from the northern ring road of the city and reach this entertainment and tourism complex through walking a distance.
