Pasangan Caravanserai

Pasangan Caravanserai is located near Zanburak, 20 km away from Qom city, along the Qom-Kashan highway. According to experts, the Pasangan caravanserai is a building from the 13th century during the Qajar era, which was built by a businessman named Haj Mohammad Baqer Qazvini. However, there are also speculations that the construction of this caravanserai goes back to the era before Safavid era. Pasangan Caravanserai includes an area of ​​half a hectare. With four Ivan, this caravanserai has formed a complete brick square with a length and width of 50 x 50 meters. The structure of the caravanserai is a two-story building. Pasangan has two smaller porches on each side of the four Ivan. There are ten arches on both sides of the gate and four semi-circular and solid towers with an array of stones are located at four corners. Pasangan gate is towards the south. It has a main gate, a brick arch and a facade on both sides. The gate opens to the vestibule. In the past, there was a second floor above the porch of the gate, but today no sign remained. Then there is a courtyard with a pond in the middle. Alcove is located on the second floor of Pasangan Caravanserai. The caravanserai has a cistern inside and a cistern outside. Among the various sections that are available to tourists in Pasangan Caravanserai, we can mention the gallery, astronomy base, bird-watching pavilion, desert exhibition, Shad Qoli Khan Drink House, handicrafts exhibition, art bazaar and reception hall.
