Ali Qoli Aqa Historical Bath was built in Bidabad neighborhood in Isfahan by Ali Qoli Aqa, who was one of the courtiers of two Safavid Kings, Shah Suleyman and Shah Sultan Hossain. He constructed the building in 1713 inside one of his complexes.

Ali Qoli Aqa Historical Bath along with a collection of other buildings such as mosque, bazar, Chahar Sou and Sara have been remained of Safavid period. The founder of these structures was one of the eunuchs in Shah Suleyman’s and Shah Sultan Hossain’s harems. Two inscriptions dated 1710 in Ali Qoli Aqa mosque, the book “History of Isfahan” in which the bath is mentioned to have been constructed in 1700, and finally dating 1713 at the end of the bath’s deed, all indicate that the monument is the work of the early eighteen century. It was bought by the municipality of District 1- Isfahan in 2000 on order to reconstruct from 2002 to 2004 by the Isfahan City Renovation Organization. The building is currently used as a museum. It was registered in the list of Iran National Heritages on December 14, 1935.
