Baba Aman Best National Tourist Area

Baba Aman recreational area, located ten kilometers from the Bojnourd-Mashhad Road, is one of the oldest and most beautiful tourist parks in Iran and a popular attraction in Bojnourd. his beautiful and ancient park has multiple pools and a forest area containing 400,000 trees, including plane trees, small-leaved limes, Hawthorns trees, Locusts, willows, and apricots. The park covers an area of 250 hectares with lush vegetation. The main spring of Baba Aman gushes from four points inside a hill and has a flow rate of 35 to 40 cubic meters per second, with water flowing into pools constructed at different levels to create artificial waterfalls.

Another attraction of Baba Aman is a branch of the Atrak River passing by the park, which attracts fishing enthusiasts who spend hours pursuing their hobby. There are also several trout breeding pools in the park that are managed by private organizations. In addition, the park has a wildlife sanctuary located on a 250-hectares area in the land in the western part of the Baba Aman recreational area, where the diverse plant and animal species of North Khorasan can be found.
