Kamfiruz is a partly vast plain at the height of 1800 meters above the sea level in 80 km of Shiraz surrounded by a range of mountain and the slopes that covered by oak trees.
The climate of this region is moderate with subtropical and semi-cold characteristics. Unique natural landscapes, Behesht-e Gomshode (meaning the lost paradise) region around the Mangan and Mohjan Abad, abundant springs, surrounding areas of Doroudzan dam and also "Ab Rava" waterfall and monuments are the tourism attractions of this region.
Agriculture and cultivating the main crops of this region such as rice beside the service activities constitute the economy of this region. This city is located in median of the tribes who speak in Luri and Farsi. The spoken language of Kamfiruz is a combination of old Farsi and ancient Pahlavi. Some Turk tribes are resident in some villages. The people of Kamfiruz are Muslims and the followers of Shia.
