Also known as Sakhtsar in the past, the city of Ramsar is famous for hot water springs and its Pahlavi palaces. In addition, the city where forest, mountain and sea are seen at the same time, is the host of a lot of travelers every year.

Dalkhani or Dalikhani forest is one of the natural attractions of Ramsar. Leaving Ramsar for Tonekabon, you will get Janat Abad three-way after seven kilometers that is placed 22 kilometers away from Dalikhani forest. Galesh Mahaleh is the last village with a car access. Arriving the village, you need to walk into the forest. If you have personal car, park it in the village and otherwise, taxis are available in Ramsar or Sadat Shahr.

The whole road is asphalt. It is full of delicious cuisines! There are abundant fire teas to local foods on both sides of the road.

Jungle trekking begins in Galesh Mahaleh village. The starting point is a stream you need to follow to reach the jungle. Each twist, up and down will surprise you with a spectacular landscape you admire. While you might see all routs and sceneries alike, they are seen quite differently in your eyes.

It is important to notice that a several hours of forest climbing here requires an experienced and knowledgeable guide. In addition, you need a suitable shoe, map, GPS, climbing baton as well as a compass besides a water bottle, a light meal and some chocolates and edibles. But, if you just tend to walk, do not forget to pay a visit to the nearby villages like Roudbar and Garasma Sar, Ekra Sar and Gelin with their pristine and lovely nature.

One of the best times for traveling to the forest is autumns when the weather is moderate and the colors are astonishing. May is also memorable when the trees are full of blossoms. You can also walk into Ramsar allies to enjoy the aroma of orange blossom at this time.
