The museum consists of six halls: 1) Khuzestan Archaeology, 2) Prehistoric, 3) Historical, 4) Burial, 5) Elamite Archaeology, and 6) Administrative sections. The displayed artifacts in the Izeh Archaeological Museum range from stone tools dating back 50,000 years before the Paleolithic period to items from the Qajar era. These artifacts include blades, stone mortars, pestles, and axes, which are exhibited from approximately 50,000 years ago to 9,000 years before the Common Era in the Paleolithic section. The museum also showcases decorated pottery, stone beads, ceramic figurines, and significant items from the beginning of settled village life, dating from 8,000 to 5,500 years before recorded history. Other findings such as Elamite inscribed bricks, Elamite statuettes of deities, and metal objects like swords, spears, and various coins from historical periods are also on display. A full-size replica of the famous Elamite statue known as the "Great Male Figure" can be observed in this museum.
