The Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicrafts is the main custodian responsible for preserving and safeguarding cultural artifacts to ensure that the national and historical identity of this land is not damaged or forgotten over time. With the help and cooperation of the insightful people of Asadabad, who donated their cultural items and artifacts to establish the Culture and History Museum, the museum was inaugurated on September 28, 2008, in the Seyed Jamaluddin Memorial Building in the Seyedan neighborhood. The museum features over 550 historical and ancient artifacts from the Parthian period to the contemporary era.
In this museum, old jars from the Parthian period and items from old Qajar houses, such as old lamps, locks, hookah bases, heaters, kitchen utensils, agricultural tools, and traditional clothing of the people of Asadabad, are displayed.
