The mosque is a remnant of the Timurid era, which is about 732 square meters in center and it lies in the southern margin of Imam Khomeini Street. The foundation of this building dates back to 899 AH and coincides with the rule of Sultan Hossein Baqira, which was built by Ali Karkhi, son of Baisyd. The tomb is located in the underground adjacent to the entrance of the mosque. Jame Mosque was restored in 1195 by Abbasgoli Khan Bayat and is a kind of four-door mosque. The mosque building with historical inscriptions represents the social and political situation of Neyshabur during the Safavid period.
