Located in the No Abad neighborhood next to the historical market of the city, Fatemi Historical House is considered one of the most important traditional residences in Neyshabur County.
This historical building belonged to the Fatemi family in Neyshabur and dates back to the Qajar period or slightly before.
The building is constructed in various sections, each with its specific use, including internal and external sections, animal shelters, stables, and numerous spaces such as multiple rooms, corridors, alcoves, kitchen, bathroom, a special reception room, a special guest rest area, grain and legume storage, cellars, etc.
In the outer section, which serves administrative and ceremonial purposes, the main hall of the house, known as the Sash Hall (Orosi), the space for the main family room, the spring bed (Bahar Khaab), and the summer veranda are located.
One of the most important artistic and decorative features of this building is its eye-catching plasterworks with plant motifs, flowers, and bushes in the Arsie room, as well as various architectural decorations such as Rasmi Bandi, Kaar Bandi, Muqarnas, etc., which are found in various parts of the house.
Another artistic feature of this house is the presence of very beautiful latticed doors and windows, using various woodwork techniques such as Gereh Chini, tongue and groove, and the use of colored glasses, which are really beautiful and attractive.
Fatemi historical House has been registered in the list of national monuments of Iran on Dey 11, 1380 S.H. (No. 4702).
