Jajarmiha House is one of the valuable examples of traditional courtyard architecture from the late Qajar period, located in the heart of the city of Bojnord that is now used as a handicrafts house. Located on Taleghani Street, Jajarmiha Historical House is a building belonging to the late Qajar period that was erected by Master Gholamreza Banna Yazdi in 1325 A.H., according to the existing inscription. This small and beautiful building, registered in the list of Iran National Heritage with the number 1151, with a square plan and an area of ​​about 600 square meters, is a valuable example of traditional courtyard architecture. Initially, the primary use of Jajarmiha House was residential, according to its owner, the late Haj Ali Akbar Jajarmiha. Later, it was converted into a Husseiniyeh and was eventually abandoned by the benefactor family to be handed over to the North Khorasan Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicrafts Administration provided that they restore and preserve the house and completely observe the contents of deed of endowment and after the restoration process, it was used as a handicrafts house. At present, Jajarmiha House is known as a historical site, a city attraction, and a handicrafts market. Mourning ceremonies and celebrations are held there during the month of Muharram and other occasions and martyrdoms.
