Filband Village is a unique and temporate region in the Khoshroud district, Babol County, Mazandaran Province, Iran. This village is bordered by Sangchal Village in the north and Manehbon Highland in the south, located at an altitude of 2300 meters above sea level. In the past, the route to this village was very difficult, which is why it is called Filband. In the local language, "fil" means tiredness and "band" means being unable. In the Mazandaran region, Filband is also called the eastern roof of Mazandaran, because it is located on the mountains. This village is one of the most unique highland areas in Iran and is very popular among tourists due to its magnificent landscapes. One of the attractions of this village is the phenomenon of the cloud ocean, which is easily visible in the old texture of the city. This scenery can become one of the most memorable sights in anyone's life. Some consider the history of this village to be over 700 years old, which adds to its value and importance. Another attraction of Filband is the Lār spring. In addition, there are many other springs in the village, but Lār is the most popular and famous. According to water experts, these springs are very beneficial for kidney pain.

In addition to the unique nature, there are also historical and pilgrimage sites in this area, known as Imamzadeh Yahya and Imamzadeh Qasem. Imamzadeh Yahya is located at the entrance of the village and has a silver dome surrounded by several wooden cabins that can also be rented. Imamzadeh Qasem is located in the mountains of Alimestan, a little mountain climbing required to reach. It is better to go to Imamzadeh Qasem with sufficient equipment and a professional guide. The best time to travel to this area is summer or late spring, as the weather is very pleasant in this season, while the area is almost deserted during winters due to heavy rain and snowfall.

To stay in the village, you can use the village houses that the locals make available to tourists, or rent a room in Tekyeh Gharb located in the village. If desired, camping can be done around the village, but it should be noted that even on summer nights, the weather in this area is cool. To reach this village, you can move from the cities of Babol or Amol towards the village. The route from Amol is more recommended; It is an asphalted road without many turns. The route from Amol to Filband is as follows: Go from Amol towards Haraz Road, and after the first tunnel, you will see the sign for Chelav Village. Move towards Chelav Village and then turn into the Chelav-Mangol side road, which is located right after the Amol Police Station. At the end of the route, you will reach Filband Village.
