Ghale Maswa is a traditional and highly nutritious dish from the Ilam province, which is very popular among the local people. This nutritious dish is prepared using sheep’s Khash (you can also use yeanling’s Khash if preferred), Kashk (whey, which can be substituted with Dough), some local rice, fried onions, mint, and wild pennyroyal. It is served with fresh local bread. In some areas, this dish is also prepared without meat or khash, and it is known as Kashk and Doo.
