Isfahan Museum of Music is the only and the first private museum in Iran which is entirely dedicated to music. It started to work in 2015 with the aim of introducing the authentic Iranian music to the public and improving the cultural level of people in the region. The museum includes two halls for national and regional musical instruments where over 300 items are on display. You can visit the halls accompanied by a guild who knows English and French, while using the audio-visual files prepared tor each item. The complex also includes a professional studio of crafting musical instruments (in order to get familiar with different pieces of each item and the way in which they are created) and a hall dedicated to the masters of Iranian music and the artists of crafting musical instruments named Sara-ye Sar Ahangan. You need 30 to 60 minutes to see the whole complex. You can also enjoy a live music performance for 30 to 45 minutes after the visit. There is also a café shop here you can take a rest and then, buy some souvenirs such as cultural products, different kinds of handicrafts or musical products (audio-visual CDs) from the museum shop.
